Why can't I update the firmware on my GC313/GC313Pro, or why is my computer unable to recognize the device?
About firmware update:
For GC313, Make sure the GC313 is powered on (the AC adapter must be plugged into a wall outlet), and use the included USB-C cable to connect the C1 port of the GC313 to a USB-C port on your computer.
For GC313Pro, Make sure the GC313Pro is powered on (the AC adapter must be plugged into a wall outlet), and use the included USB-C cable to connect the C2 port of the GC313Pro to a USB-C port on your computer.
About the device is not recognized:
If you are using the GC313Pro:
1. The GC313Pro can only be recognized as a capture device by your computer when the C2 port of the GC313Pro is connected to your computer's USB port, and the GC313Pro is properly powered
2 In Device Manager, under "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers" or "Cameras," the name Elite Go GC313PRO should appear.
3 If the device is not recognized, disconnect all Type-C ports from the GC313PRO, then reconnect and try again.
If you are using GC313, and your GC313 is not recognized by Assist Central Pro V4.0.19 or later, in addition to ensuring that the GC313 is properly powered, please check whether the C1 port of the GC313 is connected to your computer’s USB Type-C port using the Type-C to Type-C cable provided in the package.
If you are using a Type-C to Type-A cable, it’s likely that the GC313 won’t be recognized by Assist Central. This is because Type-C to Type-A cables lack a CC Pin and do not support charging or HDMI functionality.
